One year check up

Thursday, March 7, 2013

Is it bad that I am still impressed with myself that I kept Blair alive for a whole year!? Maybe. But to be fair she was five weeks early. Needless to say she is thriving now and you would never know she was a preemie. Here are her stats...
Weight
20 pounds 2 ounces. 30th percentile. Enough to make me tired when lugging carrying her upstairs.
Height
28.5 inches, 30th percentile
Head
47 cm, It's like an orange on a toothpick! Still 95th percentile!
Baby girl now has TWO teeth! Both on the bottom. Doctor said everything looks good and it's up to me when to start weaning her. I started cutting down to three feedings a day and we will see how things go from there. I seriously can't ever imagine her giving up her morning and evening feeds though. Homegirl absolutely loves her milk still!
She also loves giving herself kisses. See for yourself...

Pardon my lack of video skills. Tomorrow I am hosting a giveaway for some really cute barrettes from an etsy shop I adore. Get excited and make sure you enter!

  1. HA! Your opening line is great and so is the orange on the toothpick! Too funny! And the open mouth kissing is seriously the sweetest!!

Watch for Tiny Town, an offbeat collection of cast off toys, bones, and other
junk. It's sad really, as these are children who are just highly creative and need to be accepted for who they are.
