Pink Blush Maternity Wear

Monday, February 4, 2019

*This post is sponsored by Pink Blush

While I do love sweats, I also realize I can't wear them for all nine months of my pregnancy. ;) It can be hard to find things to wear while pregnant but Pink Blush has me covered for maternity clothes! They sent over some adorable maternity tops and I got complemented on them right away! The best news is that I'm pretty sure they will work for me after the baby arrives too...win win!

With Valentines Day around the corner this coral off shoulder ruffle pom trim maternity top is perfectly festive! I'll be sure to wear it out when my hubby takes me on a date night to celebrate! ;) It also transitions perfectly into spring... the pom poms are my favorite detail.

I also received this rust button should waffle knit maternity top which is so soft and comfy. I feel like this rust color is super in and in fact I'm using this color as a staple in the baby's nursery! I love it.

J.Adams Giveaway

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Spring is here and my sandals from last year are looking a tad sad. I teamed up with J.Adams and found some really cute (and super affordable!) shoes that take my outfit to the next level without being uncomfortable.

I love that they have a velcro strap so I can get them on quickly and easily. The peep toe is flirty and fun and the chunky heal gives me a little bit of (much needed) height.

You can enter here for a pair of your own by checking out J.Adams HERE and letting me know below in the comments which is your favorite style. Entrants MUST leave their email address with their comment. Winner will be notified in two days. Good luck!

The Best Time to be a Kid: Gymboree Gift Card

Wednesday, November 8, 2017

It seems like every year I get the itch earlier and earlier to bust out my Christmas decorations. I used to have a strict "no decorating till after Thanksgiving" policy but with three kids now I just want the season to last a little longer. I may have gotten a few things out already!

We have so many sweet traditions at our house around Christmas time and Blair just goes NUTS over all of it. Christmas really is the best time to be a kid! One of her favorite things is our advent calendar. Each day we read a part of the Christmas story and then follow it up with an activity (like decorating our tree in festive jammies) or an act of kindness (like buying a gift for a child in need). This keeps Christmas both fun and meaningful in our house.

Gymboree's holiday looks are the perfect fit for our holiday traditions. Putting on coordinating, festive jammies while decorating the tree gets everyone excited (and comfortable!). We love Gymboree's quality clothing especially since everything Blair wears will soon become Everly's! And you know it makes my heart go pitter-patter when I see all three of my kiddos in matching jammies. :)

I'm always on the prowl for cute festive jammies and accessories and Gymboree had me covered this year! They had everything I needed to keep my kiddos warm. Hats, scarves, slippers... you name it! Make sure you check out their holiday line and head over to my instagram (@natyouraveragegirl) for your chance to win a $50 gift card!

What are your holiday traditions? Do you get festive jammies every year? Tell me why you think the holidays are the best time to be a kid!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Thursday, May 4, 2017

I got some things for my birthday that I've really been enjoying so I thought I should share the love! Maybe it can help you when gift shopping for a friend (or yourself!) or your MOM since Mother's Day is coming up!

1. High Waisted Workout Pants: these are completely necessary for my post twin belly. The twins managed to rip my abdominal muscles down the center which will forever make me look a little prego unless I get it surgically stitched back up. Until then I'll just be tucking it all in to my high waisted workout pants!

2. Cold Shoulder Tank Top: I'm loving this trend and I especially love this top because I don't need a strapless bra to go with it.

3.Sandal/Boot: I wore a shoe similar to this at a recent photo shoot and loved it so much I had to buy some of my own. The heel isn't sky high which I like.

4. Raw Hem Denim: I swear I had a pair of these in high school and they're baaaaack! Doesn't that always happen? I grabbed this pair and plan to wear them all summer.

My Mom actually ordered a pair of the high-waist leggings and loves them so they are Mom-tested and approved in case you were wondering. :) Happy shopping!

Cool Mama Breast Feeding Clothes

Sunday, November 20, 2016

Last week Cool Mama sent me one of their nursing tops and I can't believe I've been functioning without them! The fabric is super soft made from bamboo and the cut of the shirt is very flattering. The sleeve is a bit longer to hide my not-so-toned arms and it's very blousy around the mid section which always helps.

And the best part is that you can wear these while pregnant AND breast feeding! A second bonus for me is that I can nurse both babies at the same time without needing a nursing cover. This solves so many problems! I seriously can't wait to order more of these tops...they have dresses too!

And yes I do see the humor in the following pictures...those are the babies' heads, I swear! Ha ha!

Easy side slit allows baby to get to the good stuff.

Classic Dianne

Thursday, June 23, 2016

Yesterday while scrolling through instagram I discovered a company called Classic Dianne. They sell shirt extenders to make your blouses longer. They are crazy cute and I want them all! I push so many of my shirts to the back of my closet because they don't hit me at the right spot. I always think, "Ugh. If this was a little longer it would be so much more flattering."

Enter giant huge prego belly. Nothing is long enough! And while I don't have a shirt extender (yet) they gave me the genius idea to use a slip dress I have to extend my currently blouses. See?

This was me before I ran out the door to take Blair to Vacation Bible School. While I was there a friend asked me how I'm surviving the heat in my jeans. I was like, "Well, my maternity shorts are in the wash and apparently it's not appropriate to wear Matt's boxers to church." Ha ha. If you happen to stop by my house unannounced you're in for a treat. Or a really long wait outside while I frantically get dressed. ;)

These are my favorite blouse extenders from Classic Dianne...

PinkBlush Maternity Dress

Monday, May 2, 2016

*The winner is Heidi P.! Congrats! An email will be sent to you today.

Finding stylish maternity clothing can be quite a chore so I was thrilled when PinkBlush reached out to me! PinkBlush is a maternity boutique that also has clothes for post-pregnancy and baby. While browsing their website I came across a ton of cute maternity clothes. It was hard for me to narrow a choice down but I ended up choosing this maternity maxi dress.

I'm sure I'll be living in this maternity dress all summer and it was the perfect maxi to wear to my birthday celebration this weekend. The halter neck line is easily adjustable and the seam below the bust gives me some shape instead of looking like I'm wearing a sack. I love the peach, white, and black color combo too...perfect for spring!

Now for the fun part! PinkBlush is giving away a $75 credit to their store! Enter below for a chance to win some darling clothes. Winners may not have previously won a gift card in the last 3 months.

Thanks again to PinkBlush for my adorable new maxi maternity dress. You'll be seeing me in it all spring and summer long. ;)

Work it Wednesdays

Wednesday, March 2, 2016

So there's this shirt that I'm pretty much obsessed with. You can't beat the price or the fit! In fact I love it so much I wore it about 4 times in one week and when I put it on for just one more day M had to pry it out of my little hands. He told me I could not wear that shirt one more time and insisted that I go and get more in other colors. I don't think he has EVER told me that in our nine years of marriage.

I wish I could link to this lovely gem of a tee shirt but I couldn't find it on Target's website. But I went this week and there were plenty of them so I bet they are at your local target too! Mossimo is the brand. Anyway here's a couple of ways to style it!

I'll be living in this all summer!

Love that it covers the bum!

I love bright pops of color for spring!

You would die if you saw how busted open my pants are underneath.

Brown boots would have been cuter but they require too much effort to take off so just imagine.

What I love about this shirt is that it's not a maternity top but it should last me my whole pregnancy. The bonus is that I can still wear it afterwards and it should be forgiving. Hey it's so flowy I could probably nurse under it too! ;) Go get one (or three!). This one is a size Medium.

Mama Bear

Thursday, July 2, 2015

A couple weeks ago B and I had the chance to rock our "Mama Bear" and "Baby Bear" T shirts c/o Moodcatz. In my opinion they were a hit!

I love them! And still really want the "mermaid hair don't care" one for her. Get yours HERE. :)

Work it Wednesday {Summer Romper}

Thursday, June 25, 2015

For the record I know it's Thursday. Moving on...

I recently snagged this denim romper (at 40% off! and it's still marked down) and I love it! I adore a good romper, despite what M has to say about them, and am thrilled that this can be worn in cooler temps too. It's so easy to throw on and I don't have to think about what to pair with it. Here are the ways I styled it below:

For summer with pops of neon (bag, necklace, shoes).

For fall with booties (vintage target), sweater (super old), and neutral necklace.

For Winter (in Southern California) just add a sweater!

For a park date with the littles (shoes, earrings).

Annnnnd date night! (jacket: vintage CAbi, shoes: vintage JS, necklace).

Plus how cute is the adjustable back?
Are you a fan of the romper? Do your hubby's hate on it too? ;)

The Perfect Cami

Friday, April 24, 2015

Okay ladies I have the perfect summer cami for you! After seeing this cami on one of my besties and her friend I decided to go for it. I ordered two camis because it was buy one get one 50% off AND because they are reversible! It's like getting 4 shirts for the price of 2...winning! Here's how I styled them and what they look like on a real person (aka not a 6 foot 100lb. model). I purchased white/white (in case I spill on one side, I get a second chance on the other) and grey/black.

heandband: Anthro, shorts: CAbi, shoes: Target

Looks great layered

Longer in the back to give you some booty coverage.

Dress it down with distressed denim for summer.

Or wear it with your favorite new Lilly Pulitzer shorts! :)

Chic under a statement jacket for winter.

And here's the grey.

The back is really cute too!

Casual under a sweater for fall/winter.

Cute with more Lilly Pulitzer shorts. ;)
There you have it, girls! It's the top that keeps on giving. :) I just know that I will be wearing these all the time since they are so comfortable and fit so well. They come in lots of pretty fun spring/summer colors too! And for reference I got a size small. I'm 5'4 and 125 on a good day. ;)

This weekend we are celebrating my birthday early by renting some duffy boats and going on a sunset ride with wine and cheese. Afterwards we're headed to Bear Flag for a simple dinner then it's bonfire time in Huntington. I'm so excited to hang with our friends without kids! What are you guys up to this weekend?
