J.Adams Giveaway

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Spring is here and my sandals from last year are looking a tad sad. I teamed up with J.Adams and found some really cute (and super affordable!) shoes that take my outfit to the next level without being uncomfortable.

I love that they have a velcro strap so I can get them on quickly and easily. The peep toe is flirty and fun and the chunky heal gives me a little bit of (much needed) height.

You can enter here for a pair of your own by checking out J.Adams HERE and letting me know below in the comments which is your favorite style. Entrants MUST leave their email address with their comment. Winner will be notified in two days. Good luck!

Saranoni Blanket Giveaway

Tuesday, August 22, 2017

We're a blankie loving family over here. I still have mine (what's left of it) in the garage. It pretty much looks like a rope that you would climb out of a burning building on but I still love it all the same. Blair attached to a sleep sack  that she used to sleep in as a baby. It is the most disgusting thing you have ever seen...a lovely shade of grey even though it was pink when we first purchased it.

I've been pushing a blankie on Evie and Cal because it's nice to be able to take it to a new place and have them feel comforted regardless of where they are. They currently have muslin blankets that they like but with the colder months approaching I thought they would enjoy the Saranoni blankets to cuddle with.

These blankets are the ultimate soft luxury blankets and are beautiful! They are a great size and the babies love them. Saranoni is giving away TWO free blankets to two lucky winners! To enter head over to my Instagram account (@natyouraveragegirl) to enter for a chance to win your own! Winners will be chosen in 48 hours. Good luck!

SwaddleDesigns zzZipMe Sack Giveaway

Monday, October 3, 2016

* This giveaway is closed. The winner is DIANNE! Please email me to claim your sleep sack. (natalieb1219@gmail.com).

Go see if you were the lucky winner for the $50 stroller gift card HERE!

We've been working like mad over here to get the twins sleeping well. Naps in their own bed and own room are a work in progress but nights have been pretty good! They typically wake to nurse 1-2 times and we are very diligent about keeping their routine the same. SwaddleDesigns Cotton Knit zzZipMe Sacks have been great for keeping our twins warm.

Our babes prefer not to be swaddled so the zzZipMe Sacks are exactly what we need. Typically most babies transition from being swaddled around 3 months. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are warm but don't have the threat of a loose blanket in their crib.
Bunnies for her.

Puppies for him.

SwaddleDesigns products are high quality and the zzZipMe Sack is so soft and stretchy! I love that the sacks are breathable and have a 2 way zipper so I can change their diaper without disturbing them. Actually let's be real...so Matt can change their diaper without disturbing them! Since we have twins the poor guy has to get up and help me every time.

The sacks come in several cute prints. I chose similar boy girl designs because c'mon...everybody likes coordinating twins!

Check out all the prints HERE and comment below to let me know which one is your favorite. By doing so you will be entered to win your own zzZipMe Sack of choice!

You can like SwaddleDesigns HERE on Facebook for discounts on their products. Or follow them on Instagram @SwaddleDesigns to see how other people use and enjoy their products.

Win a Gift Card Towards a Baby Jogger Stroller

Sunday, September 25, 2016

*This giveaway is closed. The winner is CHELSEA!

I'm the type of person who just loves being pregnant. Maybe not so much in the third trimester with twins (oy, uncomfortable!) but overall I enjoy it. Possibly one of my favorite things is being able to wear a bikini and not having anyone expecting me to have abs of steel. However once the baby is born it's time to get rid of my muffin top stat! Baby jogger strollers have been crucial for allowing me to get back into shape post pregnancy.

One of the reasons why I value a good baby jogger stroller so much is because running is an easy way to get back into pre-baby shape. It's free,  you can do it anywhere, and baby can come with you! Plus any form of exercise can ward off post-partum depression.

When I had Blair I used the BOB baby jogger stroller practically every day. It came with me on vacations too. Now that I have twins I plan on using my double BOB to get back in shape. There are a ton of great workouts you can do while pushing a stroller...check out a good one HERE.

Next week marks 6 weeks post-pregnancy and as long as the doctor gives me the thumbs up I plan on hitting the trail. Hopefully the twins enjoy it as much as I do! And if not...too bad so sad. Mama needs to sweat for thirty minutes (at least!). Pairing some exercise with healthy recipes should get me out of my maternity pants in no time. ;) Oh, and here's a crazy fact...I lost 45 pounds in a week after having the twins! I still have about 10 pounds to go (more would be better). But I'll take it!

To enter to win a $50 gift card tell me in the comments below what your favorite baby jogger stroller is. You must comment to enter and a winner will be chosen at random in the next week! This giveaway is a partnership with Nakturnal, with a prize of a gift certificate.

Swaddle Designs Giveaway

Thursday, March 3, 2016

*This giveaway is closed. The winner is Kelly Sneed! Congrats!

We had a big surprise yesterday...my nephews were born at 32 weeks! Thankfully both they and their mama are doing well. The boys weighed in at 3 pounds 7 ounces and 3 pounds 10 ounces and 17 inches long. They are in the NICU for an estimated 3-4 weeks and I will get to see them today.

And speaking of newborns I just can't wait to wrap my sweet twins up in these Swaddle Designs muslin blankets. With my expected due date set at September 4th (and likely much earlier) it is going to be blazing hot here in southern California. Breathable muslin blankets will be perfect!

Swaddle Designs kindly sent me two adorable black and white patterned blankets which will be darling for girls or boys! I love these blankets because they get softer with every wash and are so versatile! They can be used as sunshields, playmats, nursing covers, and more. Plus, they come with fool proof 1, 2, 3 swaddle directions sewed into the blanket so grandmas, uncles, and new daddies can figure it out! ;)

Swaddles Designs would love for one of you to try out their muslin blankets too! (US and Canada only).

Jamberry Giveaway

Thursday, February 4, 2016

*The winner is SARA GIVENS!*
Have you guys ever tried Jamberry nail stickers? I used them many years ago but started getting fed up with them because they weren't sticking to my curved nail beds and I just felt like applying them was taking too long. Susan reached out to me and asked me if I would be willing to try them again. She recommended a you tube tutorial that would help with application and sent me an awesome Jamberry package full of goodies to try out!

Having the heater made a huge difference in ease of application. The kit comes with some cuticle oil but I learned the hard way that you can't use it after applying the stickers...they lifted right off. Maybe it's ok to use after a few hours or in between applications.

Blair and I got matching decals and they are SO cute on her little hands! She loves doing girly things with me and since she's been sick I've been letting her relax and watch some TV. This made applying them super easy. ;)

Clearly someone got her Daddy's olive skin.
I love that the decals don't chip...especially for her. I can be careful when I paint my nails but whenever I paint hers they don't last half a day. The designs that Jamberry has to choose from are seriously adorable. I can see myself using these more in the future and I'm sure with more practice I will get faster (and better) at applying them.

Here's the fun part! Susan has offered to give away $50 in Jamberry products to one lucky winner! Enter below for your chance to win! Winner announced early next week.

Freshly Picked Giveaway

Monday, November 23, 2015

I've been a fan of Freshly Picked moccasins since Blair was just a babe. They are the most precious keepsake shoes and I just love how they show how her feet have grown on the bottom of the soles. The moccasins are surprisingly tough and hold up well even in out door play. They are one of the only pairs of shoes that Blair doesn't throw a fit about when I put them on her. She loves how comfortable they are!

Freshly Picked was so kind to send me a pair. I couldn't pass up their "Let it go" moccasins and we had a chance to break them in at (where else) Disneyland!

Don't you just love the iridescent sparkle?!

Elsa and Anna even checked out her "Let it go" moccasins!
They even made her fall asleep. ;)
Merry early Christmas! Today I am teaming up with Freshly Picked to giveaway one pair of soft soled moccasins to a lucky reader! To enter you must follow me @natyouraveragegirl and @freshlypicked on Instagram. Head over there now for your chance to win!

Disney's 60th Birthday

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

We have been Disneyland fools the last month since our passes are blocked out for summer soon. Pretty sure Disneyland is losing money on us since we've been there twice a week! Ha ha like that would ever happen.

One of my goals (yes, I have Disneyland goals) was to go on new-to-us rides and see new shows with our passes. So far we have! And I have to say that the Frozen Theatre Show and Mickey's Magical Map are both awesome! Not to mention the new Paint the Night Parade and Firework show. In my honest opinion the new World of Color show in California Adventure is a snooze fest. Oh, and we watched Fantasmic for the first time and wow! So good!

I scooped up an autograph book for Blair and she had a great time collecting signatures from princesses, fairies, and mice alike.

The cutest Huggies wipes for keeping her hands clean in between characters.

We decided to eat dinner at Ariel's Grotto which was both expensive and amazing. Blair got to meet 5 princesses while dining on chicken strips and fries...every toddler girls dream right?! She died when the princesses waltzed into the dining room. And the joy on her face was worth every penny of the $100 + bill. Oy. Definitely a once a year in a lifetime experience.

Blair's bestie, Char, showed up partway through the day and they got to meet Elsa and Anna together. The sweetest thing when they all 4 spun together!

After dinner with the princesses Huggies Mickey wipes came in handy again!

Huggies Clutch 'n' Go followed us all over the park!

Finishing the night off with the new Paint the Night Parade. Clearly they hated it. ;)
Disneyland, we will miss you over the summer but we won't miss the sweaty crowds of people. Instead we will be spending some quality time at the beach!

And just for fun to celebrate Disneyland's 60th birthday I will be giving away one pouch of Huggies Disney wipes to one of you! All you have to do is click the links below and tell me which Huggies video you can relate to the most!
