Halloween 2018

Thursday, November 1, 2018

Halloween was seriously the best this year. The twins are at such a fun age and really "get it." They insisted running up to each door on their own and proudly holding out their bag. Every time they came back down the driveways of our neighbors they would say, "More candy!" It was pretty much the cutest thing ever.

This year we were everything Disney related. M was a Disney photographer, I was an annual passholder, Blair was Ariel, and the twins were Mickey and Minnie. We had fun putting each costume together and I never want family costumes to end!

It's official. She's the cutest thing ever.
Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!

Fair Game: OC Fair

Monday, August 6, 2018

Every year I drag bring Matt to the fair. For a while it was just us and Blair but this year we finally brought the twinkies along for their first visit! I fed Matt a burger and a beer and he ended up being okay with it. ;) The kids loved the hustle and bustle of the crowd, the corn dogs, and the bright lights. Cal chose to ride a ride with Blair and Evie opted for our friend Jojo to win her a stuffed unicorn at the balloon popping game. Everyone was a winner! You know all it took for me to be happy was a corn dog (of course).

For me the fair is a bloggers dream...the photo ops are endless! I'd be down to bring outfit changes but I'm pretty sure M would leave me stranded with all three kids if I suggested it. ;) Are you guys into the fair? It's the perfect thing to do while our Disneyland passes are blocked!

Happy Belated New Year!

Monday, January 29, 2018

Soooooo I'm realizing it's almost February and I never really posted on the new year! Even though it's over and done with (and most people are neck deep in Valentine's Day) I wanted to post about it since this is my digital journal/scrapbook. :)

For us NYE was staying at home in our pj's with good friends, eating good food, and playing a game while watching the ball drop. Since the twins came along our NYE adventures are a bit lame toned down (and I'm okay with that!). It's a season! This year I busted out some old decorations and got fancy with Blair for fun before the festivities began and my pajamas came out. ;)

Cal was around but to be quite honest he doesn't enjoy dressing up as much as the girls. ;) Happy belated New Year!

Roof Top Yoga

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Last week I was invited to take a yoga class at a local all organic grocery store in town called Goodwin's. To be honest I'm not typically a yogi because I have an hour to exercise every day and I really try to get my heart rate high for that hour. And the way I do yoga that doesn't happen. ;) But I really did love the class and once I start having more time to exercise (aka when the twins are 20) I would love to add it to my routine.
This was the only time my crop top looked decent...while standing. lol

Goodwin's is an all organic grocery store with bomb smoothies. I personally loved the acai one! Their roof top yoga was relaxing and if I took the time to do that often I'm sure I would be more calm and stress less.

Love the view!

thanks for joining me taylar!

Are you guys into yoga? If so I recommend checking this out! It's $15 a class for non-members and they had yummy cucumber infused water or peppermint infused water for those who aren't breast-feeding. :)

Memorial Day Review

Tuesday, May 30, 2017

Did everyone enjoy their l o n g weekend? We sure did! Our time was well spent bbqing, swimming, and watching the parade. I woke up with a sore throat/cough which must be a sign that we played too hard. ;) So thankful for all that have given their lives for us and have kept our country safe.

We hung around home over the holiday weekend and the babies enjoyed their first dip in our pool. The pool wasn't quite as warm as we had hoped but they still liked it which surprised me. Cal's expressions KILL me!

He's like an old man in his hat and I love it. I'm always excited to get the dressed in festive gear so my laundry this week will consist of three colors: red, white, and blue. :)

They also liked the parade of motorcycles which was shocking considering how loud it was. Those babies are full of surprises!

I hope your weekend was full of ice cream and hot dogs too! This was the pre-party for the 4th of July and I can't wait!

Disney Days

Friday, May 12, 2017

Sadly our three day Disneyland passes we got are all used up. We had SO much fun going once a month before the busy summer months...so worth it! We're also looking forward to going again this fall and staying at the Disneyland Grand California Hotel! Can't even wait.

I meeaaaan I know how to start off my day right at Disneyland...

Notice the tissue paper hanging from Blair's dress from a show we saw earlier in the day. She wanted to add some flair to her gown. ;)

Thirty-ish

Monday, May 1, 2017

Ahhh the birthday weekend. It was good to me. We will just go ahead and say I'm thirty-ish. This has to go down as one of the best birthdays. I mean ALL my babies celebrated with me on the outside world as opposed to in utero last year. And yes we were a complete circus as we walked around downtown Redlands but I loved every minute of it.

We had pizza for lunch, sipped on iced coffee from my favorite coffee bar (Augie's) and indulged in some ice cream from A La Minute. I even got to shop at a local kids clothing store, Seed, and its sister store for women, Nectar. Unfortunately, I have some serious mom-bod going on because despite trying on 20 off -the-shoulder tops I walked out with a hat and shoes. Sigh. Someday I'll be coming for you, crop tops, but today is not that day. Today was pizza and ice cream.

And lucky for me the birthday festivities continue of Friday with a jaunt to Disneyland and a spa day with my Mama on Saturday. Matt Bushman, you are a good good man because that's a lot of Daddy Day Care.
