Blair's 1st Ballet Class

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

Yesterday marked an important day in history...B had her first ballet class! Is there anything cuter? I've decided not. While I'm not going to say she'll be performing in the next Nutcracker, she did have fun (and I did too!). I'm not sure who was sweating more though. Actually I am sure... it was me. Trying to maneuver her body to do certain tasks is no easy feat!

so excited about her outfit after seeing herself in her "full length mirror"

waiting for her sticker after class
holding hands with her new friend
her "cheese" face

My heart! She was just too cute! The class she is in actually practices gymnastics too which she loved. They walked on balance beams, practiced somersaults, hung on the bar, jumped on the trampoline, and crawled through a tunnel. She was diggin' it! We get to go back again next Monday and I'm not sure which of us is more excited! :)

  1. So fun, we've been doing gymnastics and Ashlynn loves it. Each week she is more comfortable w the instructors and tries something new, so fun to watch.

  6. This is so adorable! I love her little ballet outfit! I think it's so important for little ones to learn to dance and do gymnastics as it really helps with their body and spatial awareness! Can't wait to see how her next class goes!

  8. O.M.G. I Die! This is just tutu cute for words!!! You're in the OC right? Did you take her to a dance school or the community classes? My friend was telling me about taking Kaitlyn, but not sure how much focus a 14 month old would have - and I'm sure I'd be sweating chasing her around. But the leotard and shoes… oh - so cute! Okay, sorry for the babbling!
