Toddler Tuesday

I mentioned yesterday that we had a fun filled weekend with lots of time spent with family and friends. On Friday I offered to watch a friend's 6 month old while she spent the day enjoying a friend's birthday celebration. I can officially say I am NOT ready for #2. Her baby was actually really easy...it's mine that was high maintenance. When I laid her daughter down for a nap and she cried for a bit and B could not handle it! She screamed and cried till I was convinced I was deaf.  I finally had to turn the monitor on mute and just watch for her to wake up. All I can say is I am totally ready for decorate that nursery...and totally not ready to put a baby in it...

Friday after babysitting we went out to dinner at one of our favorite spots, Smokey Canyon. We fed B everything we could to keep her content at the table. You can tell she's had her fill below...

Saturday we went out to breakfast with one of my old teacher friends and her hubby. They totally spoiled B with a Juicy (yes, as in Couture!) purse for her birthday. Baby got style! :) She loved spending time with them and hanging out with Carlos. :)

That afternoon we went to B's second cousin, Landon's, first birthday party. His mama did a darling job putting it together.

Finally, Saturday night we celebrated M's dad's bday with dinner at our house. Then we gave him the gift of Blair while we went out to the movies. ;)

Sunday we went to a local park that runs a small train the second and fourth Sundays of every month. B rode the train with us and seemed to enjoy it! Sunday evening we went to church and then over to some friend's house to hang out and play games. We are getting quite good and loading the pack-n-play into our car and being flexible! Yay for mommy and daddy social hour!

This picture above cracks me up. My friend Ashley was doling out puffs for all the babies. I told her she looked like the pigeon lady with all her little birds. Great memories...fun times!
