I have never met a doughnut that I didn't like. And I may or may not have once eaten about half a dozen on my own. Disgusting? Maybe. But that shows my true love for them! For my birthday my dear friend Rikki got me a doughnut cook book along with doughnut pans. Although they were not fluffy like a glazed doughnut from the shop they were still good with a cakey consistency.

Have you ever made homemade doughnuts? I can't wait to try a fancier recipe! What are your plans for the weekend? Today I am going with my mom and brother to turn in their guide dog Nikki that they have been training for 18 months. It will no doubt be sad but it's for a good cause. My mom and I are also going to Laguna Beach on Saturday and staying the night since my brother is hosting his bachelor party at our family beach house. Pictures to come next week! ReplyDeleteyum donuts! my husband buys a donut every sunday it was a family traditional in his household, i would get one too but then i would loose my girlish figure. i have seen that pan frequently and wondered how it was thanks for sharing! they look great
