Bomb Bruschetta

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

This week I am in the mountains volunteering as a camp counselor for our church's high school youth group. My apologies for being MIA this week in blog world!

Last week while I was frantically scrambling writing my blog posts for this week Matt whipped up some tasty bruschetta. Most of the ingredients came from our garden (tomatoes & basil) and were fresh and yummy! I love this simple and delicious appetizer. Here is the recipe below...

 fresh basil from garden

fresh sweet 100 tomatoes from garden

buy garlic and sliced french bread

 mmmm

chop the tomatoes, garlic, and basil and combine. drizzle olive oil on bread before toasting in oven.

voila! serve to your hungry wife while she is blogging. :)

This recipe never lets me down. Hope you enjoy!
