Freedom, fireworks, and franks!

Ok so I know I swore off tanning last month but it's the 4th of July and I do not plan on coming back to town as pasty as I left. My family is going to the beach for our annual 4th of July weekend festivities which includes running on the beach trail, eating crappy food, laying out (duh), surfing (maybe), hot tubbing, and lots of card games. My bags are packed full of red, white, and blue gear that you will be sure to get a glimpse of bright and early Tuesday morning. That's right. It's a national holiday and this girl deserves a break too! ;) If I had all the time (and money) in the world here is what my 4th of July would look like...

For the second half of my post I thought it would be fun to show you some pictures of past Fourth of July's. As you can see below I am always at some kind of beach enjoying the festivities. Why change a good thing?
