Yesterday night B had a five hour cycle and a four hour cycle overnight! I got three straight hours of sleep! It was awesome. :) Things really are changing quickly. I'm already packing away her newborn clothes and putting her in size 0-3 months and 3 months. Crazy! My mom's favorite quote is "See, she's changing so much! Remember when ______ (fill in the blank)." But she's right! B is more independent now in some ways. She plays on her play mat on her back for a good fifteen minutes by herself and also swings in her swing longer now.
There are little nuances about B that I don't want to forget. Like how she is infatuated with black and white objects such as big dark picture frames, shadows on the ceiling, dark fans on a white ceiling, etc. Glad we bought all those toys...
I also don't want to forget her zoolander face that she makes while nursing. I need to capture it soon!

OMG! I'm laughing out loud, A makes baby zoolander face when she eats too!!
ReplyDeleteShe goes back and forth from doing her "cute" face where she pulls her hands up to the side of her face like a sleeping baby (hand by cheek, other under chin) and I'll tell her to 'stop being cute and to get to business' then she'll do the zoolander 'blue steel' face!
It's so great to read about how Blair is up to "normal" percentiles and has caught up to where she should be. Also loving that you are figuring out the sleep situation and that she's growing out of NB clothes :)
Gosh, I cannot get over her little faces. So so sweet! And yay for growing! At least you are getting great use out of the small clothes...I hear babies usually blow through those..so you're getting good use out of all of them!
