PS her two favorite coping mechanisms were "sleeping" (above) and trying to roll in circles in the water so I would rescue her. The instructor said I'm not allowed to rescue her when she does that but just direct her head towards me (or the wall). I really learned a lot at lessons and am excited to continue to get her comfortable in the water!

She is so precious.
ReplyDeleteAre these those special ISR swim classes? My son is in a swim class at the YMCA that goes up to 18 months and they don't come close to going under water? I'd be so nervous... But good for her!
ReplyDeletei don't believe they are ISR lessons but they are intense! but we both enjoyed it so much and i plan on taking her again next year!
DeleteOh my gosh I am SO impressed by B's skills!! Jumping into the pool into the deep end!? Who is she? That is nuts! Loved the sweet video!
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me to see her swimming at such a young age! I am so glad you're doing this!
ReplyDeleteThis is like real swimming compared to what our swim lessons are...we sing songs and bounce around! Go Blair- such a little fish! Have you stuck with the one piece? All week I wore a tankini and glad I did. All the other moms were in one pieces too!
ReplyDeleteI did both...some days two piece, some days one piece. Didn't seem to bother anyone but I did go with the one piece on the day my hubby filmed me :) i'm probably leaning more towards one pieces for future swim suit purchases...hello almost 30!
DeleteThat was so cute!!
