The Resort

Over Thanksgiving break M and I had the pleasure of staying at "the resort" which is really just his Aunt and Uncles home in Montecito (Santa Barbara). But it is GORGEOUS! And I love everything about it. It's pretty much Pottery Barn meets Williams Sonoma and has a beautiful Craftsman look to it. Keep in mind these photos were taken the morning after Thanksgiving and they had 25 -30 people there! Most of which spent the night! So no judging of any toys or bedding left out. It's totally acceptable!  PS Is it wrong to lust after a house? Yes, yes it is. I will be content in my bungalow. For now. ;)

this is actually not their front door but i love it the same

great gardening beds in the dead of winter

side porch that semi connects their home to her mom's cottage. and when i say cottage i mean deluxe home that happens to have less than 5 bedrooms...

After I scrolled through my photos I realized I forgot the master bedroom/bath (oops), another kids' room, the laundry room, and the office. I stink. Next time, right? It will give you something to look forward to. :) I had a great time over the holidays and M's Aunt and Uncle were so accommodating to let such a large group take over their home. I was thrilled to have a bed and to stay in such a beautiful home. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. As you can tell I'm pretty ga-ga about this place!
