Seasonal Sensation

Thursday, August 11, 2011

I'm definitely a novelty girl. I love all things unique to holiday seasons. Easter Funfetti cupcakes? Yes! gingerbread lattes at Christmas? Done! Likewise I also enjoy baking things that I love in the off season. Hence the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies I made here. They are one of my family's favorites that I make and since I had some left over pumpkin filling from Thanksgiving (hey the stuff never expires) I decided to indulge myself.

You need baking soda, baking powder, flour, nutmeg, salt...

...pumpkin puree, vanilla, sugar, eggs, butter, and chocolate chips

directions
mixing the wet and dry ingredients... not the most appealing

bake heaping spoonfuls of the dough

and voila! once you try it you will be hooked! Enjoy with a glass of milk :)

What's your favorite seasonal treat?
