While scrolling through my iphone pictures I found some gold! AKA "pictures I haven't posted on my blog yet." ;) This concludes our vacations for the year (for the most part) unless you count filling up the baby pool in the backyard a vacation. Maybe? Blair I thoroughly enjoyed Blair's bikinis again this year and I'm hoping it fits her again next summer!

I really wanted to be a good blogger/mommy last night. I remembered the camera. I even got it out to take pictures. And then I realized I left the memory card at home. In my computer. Gah! Happens every. single. time. This is probably one of my most annoying habits if M were to make a list.

The reason I wanted to take some good pics was because we went to an AWESOME concert in the park with our friends, the Richeys. It was a lovely summer night with live music, food trucks, snow cone stands, etc. We brought our turkey sammies along with the best chips ever. B had a blast running around and dancing/eating.

One of my new years resolutions was to bust out the "big girl" camera more often and ditch the iphone. Well, I've pretty much sucked at that this year but did manage to get a couple of good shots yesterday. M says we need to get out the real camera once a week otherwise we are going to miss it!

Don't be jealous of the real cute outfit B has on... I have to admit it's not one of her greatest wardrobe days but if I'm allowed to wear work out clothes shes allowed to wear her Old Navy onesie. ;)

Today a lady at Trader Joes called B a "goddess." It was kind of that awkward moment when at first you think they are talking to you and then realize their cooing over your kid... kidding. ;)

I ponied up yesterday and got a little brave with my hair. If you know me, I've had the same hair color since, well, forever. I didn't color my hair till the month of my wedding and even then all I did was add some highlights. Since then I've chopped it off once (and never again) and gone from medium blonde to very blonde (clearly change is not my forte) but never added color to darken my hair. I've been talking about changing my hair for like 6 months plus now and finally did something a little different. It's slightly ombre but still has enough blonde in it for me not to freak out. :) Thanks Carrie for all your hard work!

Oh, and little B got her Georgia and Jane headbands in the mail this week! Seriously, doesn't she look like a little angle with it on? (I know better...) :)

Today I am off to spend some quality time with a good friend...aka get my hair done by my bff. Here is how we usually go...
ME: "I wanna do something different."
BFF: "ok"
ME: "But I have commitment issues and never wanna cut my hair or dye it too far from my natural color."
BFF: "ok, so highights again with a trim?"
ME: "yup"

Gah! Why can I not be bold and daring and FUN! Because I have hair issues. I've cut it real short before and regretted it, so that's off the table. I refuse to dye it dark for fear that I won't look like myself and be (gasp!) ugly. AND what if Blair doesn't recognize me!? That would be awful. So here I am contemplating getting bangs again. I liked having them but hated growing them out.

 So, I realize I really should have thrown these questions out much earlier since my hair appointment is today but here is the color I'm considering...

I know, I know, it's really not that different from what I currently have but it is a change for me! Minus the cut (heaven forbid I do that!) and the ombre (I'm afraid it's going out...) I really like the color on top...which is probably my natural color and I would love to pull some of the bright blonde through it as highlights. I think it's going to be great for fall/winter and maybe more low maintenance since it's less blonde. Sigh. Stay tuned tomorrow to see if I mustered up some courage to do it! 


***just talked to hubby about my options. of course his vote is to "keep it how it is." Dilemma is in full effect. :)

Yesterday my friend and her son came down to the beach and spent the day with us. Blair had SO much fun with her friend and we got the cutest pictures! We may not be arranging their marriages but we are for sure arranging their friendship. They WILL be best friends if we have anything to do with it!

How cute is this picture going to be on their wedding day!?!? Kidding. Kind of...
