Something Blue

Did you have a fabulous weekend? I was crazy busy on Saturday hosting a bridal shower for my future sister in law and then jetting off to the OC fair. Sunday was a bit more relaxing as I laid out by the pool and then drove back home for a memorial fundraiser for my friend Brandon that passed away a year ago. I hope you had a refreshing weekend! Lucky for me I don't go back to work until August 29th so I'm headed back to the beach today for the rest of the week. :)

On Saturday I had the honor of hosting a shower for my soon to be sister down at the beach. This was on my Bucket List for this summer so I'm glad I can officially scratch it off! The weather was great and it was wonderful to get to spend time with both families. Today I'm giving details about the shower and tomorrow we'll talk about what everyone wore. ;) Tiffany's wedding colors are pale blue and brown which you will see shown below.

My DIY table decor. a mason jar from Michaels filled with sand straight from the beach. Add a little rafia and a tea light and voila!

Pillow boxes filled with white M and M's along with a "letter to Tiffany" at each seat for guests to record their favorite experiences with her and advice for marriage. I created a book out of it when they were finished.

 I decorated the cake table with a homemade banner that I created on my "cricut." In the background you can see the pom poms I learned how to make too!

 Raspberry lemonade, sprite, and frozen raspberries = yummy punch!

 This is the gift that I wanted the most... adorable! In fact I may or may not be ordering these online...

 I had the baker use a template of a bride that I cut out using my cricut for the cake. Two seconds before this picture was taken Kevin came thisclose to dropping the whole cake!

This is my other favorite gift! So personal and adorable!

They really are this in love...and I caught it on film. :)

Congratulations Kevin and Tiffany! Only less than a month to go! So proud of you and excited for you! Tomorrow we will look at fashion details. :) Have a happy Monday!
