Annnnnnd I haven't had my hair done since November. Let's pretend I'm trendy and really taking advantage of the ombre look...until yesterday when I realized I was sprouting GRAY hair all over the place! I made a hair appointment faster than you can say "she must be 30 soon." Ugh. Getting old sucks!

     I had the pleasure of working with Lauren from La Sol Photography last week for a mini photo session with Blair and my sis-in-law Tiffany. We were a little worried because it started raining right as we were leaving to take the pictures (outside of course!) but thankfully it was short lived and the pictures turned out beautifully! Farmer Blair

Last Friday we headed over to our friend's house for dinner and visited with their chickens before we ate them (kidding!). They got this rad chicken coop at Sam's Club and are planning to have lots of fresh eggs at their fingertips. If we had more space (and time) I would so be down for this! Blair was fearless with the chickens and liked feeding them bread when she wasn't eating it herself. ;)

 I'm glad our friends have chickens so we can come over and feed them and they can clean up all their poop on a daily basis. ;)

Earlier that day we hit up the park with Blair's friend, Ande. How cute are these two munchkins? They held hands down the slide together. Presh.

     This last weekend we had such great weather we decided to wash our cars ourselves for a change. Little did I know that B would be quite the washer! She was very helpful with her soapy rag...especially after we washed and dried the whole car and she decided to wash it again. :/ We let her play in the driver seat while we vacuumed the car out and she cried her little eyes out when we had to return inside. Needless to say I see lots of car washes happening in our driveway this summer!

With my bunny garland (win it here!) up in full effect I figured it was time to get my Easter mantle going! I scored some pretty sweet stuff at HomeGoods (where else?!) this year. I'm a fan of neutrals so I steered clear of most of the pastels. I purchased the wreath last year and was contemplating painting the eggs neutral colors then decided it was too much work. Ain't nobody got time for that! ;)

What does your spring mantle look like? If I didn't have to paint my kitchen island still I would probably tackle those blue and yellow eggs...

Thank you for the anniversary well wishes! We had such a blast last night kid free thanks to M's parents. AND they got us electric toothbrushes! Things are getting exciting around here... But, seriously, I was super excited to get them because I had been asking for them. Hey, who doesn't want clean teeth?! I'm hoping I don't have to floss anymore now. I'm kidding, Linda. ;)

We went to dinner at PF Changs and ate our hearts out. Then we (finally) saw the movie Divergent. I LOVED it!! Totally similar to The Hunger Games or the book series called "the Uglies." Now we are for sure finishing the book series. In between dinner and the movie we got my wedding ring cleaned...don't you just love doing that? I keep flexing my finger and turning my hand to see my ring sparkle. I couldn't take M into a 7 year upgrade at the jewelry store...I'm holding out for our 10 year anniversary. ;)
