I know I've said this before but I seriously can't believe Blair is going to start preschool in two weeks! I'm sure I will shed a tear (or two) but I keep telling myself it's only MWF for 3 hours. We will still have plenty of time to hit up Disneyland afterwards. :)

With that said I am sure many of you mamas are sending your littles off to preschool soon too (if you haven't already!). I'm all about remembering important events over here so I'll be sure to document this. You're surprised aren't you? ;) My Autumn Designs and Co. shop partner came up with some cute photo props for your kiddo's special day. I can't wait to use mine (and show you the rest of them soon!).

We also included printables that don't say "grade" for those of you with preschoolers or Kindergarteners. Instead, you can write your child's name in the banner or the year...

This kid sure cracks me up. The things she says are hilarious and even though I write most of them down I need to start carrying a notepad in my purse for on the go quotes. I love her to pieces and even though she didn't smile for ONE of these pictures (and screamed her head off all the way to the beach because "blankie" was in the back of the car.) there is no lack of personality here! She's so goofy, cranky, comical, caring, and snuggly. And she's all mine. Swoon. :)

I'm pretty sure all parents kiss their kids abundantly but I swear this kid is the most over-kissed kiddo around. I just can't stay away from those precious lips and chubby cheeks! I love you, Blair! You make my heart swell with happiness. 

While we have been down at the beach Blair has had some playmates come and visit which is always fun. And even though they sometimes argue over sharing, the minute they leave she's asking when they can return. Such a fickle girl! I keep telling her when you're at the beach there's nothing to argue over...plenty of sand and waves for everyone!

Happy Wednesday! I have to say I'm not missing the 100+ temperature at home... We will be back there soon enough!

It's not secret that Blair loves all things Peppa Pig (although lately Daniel Tiger has been a favorite). She recently watched a "peppasode" in which they flew a kite on a windy day. Blair has been since asking to go fly a kite and since we're at the beach it was easy to oblige her. We picked out a Cinderella kite (duh) and off we went!

Although we flew the kite in the parking lot of the beach, I'm pretty sure she still thought it was amazing. Thanks to the constant beach breeze she was a natural at kite flying. ;) What did you guys do over the weekend? We're here another week soaking up some sunshine before preschool (!!!) starts and we're back to our regular routine.

Last weekend M and I attended a friend's wedding in Beverly Hills. The venue, Greystone Mansion, was gorgeous and overlooked all of LA. It had me in love with LA all over again and itching for a fun trip out there soon.

The bride has impeccable taste and the attention to detail was spot on. It doesn't hurt that she's also a stunning bride.

The best part about her dress was that the tulle skirt was removable! For the reception she took it off to reveal a beautiful gown underneath!

Congrats Marie and Tyler! We are so happy for you and had so much fun sharing your special day with you.

I can not even believe that in a couple of weeks Blair will be off to preschool three days a week! I know she is going to love it and I can't wait to see her thrive. Cue the back-to-school shopping! I almost made it through a photo shoot without baby. Too bad Gymboree didn't have anything in baby's size!

Clearly we are still on vacation mode but soon enough these clothes will be worn at preschool!


Blair's outfits c/o Gymboree Let's Color Together Collection!

This weekend was full of fun activities! I had the honor of helping host a baby shower for my sweet friend who is adopting her second child...a girl! She's the cutest little nugget but because the adoption isn't final yet, I'll have to wait on showing you her pretty face. ;)

We went with colors that will be used in the nursery, mint, gold, coral, and navy. We kind of went with a "Rifle Paper Co." theme and I love how it turned out. Take a look!

I'm so blessed to have this sweet friend in my life. She has been there for me the last two years in a major way and I'm so thankful for a friendship. It feels so good to have a friend who prays, encourages, and cares so incredibly much. I love you Rikki! :)
