Chalk Talk

I finally jumped on the bandwagon with the chalk board craze and ordered some from Etsy. I applied one to the back of our laundry room door and then added a Bible verse. I really need to work on my chalk board writing skills. The thing is, that I am good at copying other people's work, but not so good at creating my own. Sigh. It's also hard writing vertically and largely and with a wet chalk pen. Excuses...




I also got some mini labels for our pantry items...


Also, we finally made the upgrade to a "big girl" tub (well kinda). She seemed to really enjoy the extra space given that we were still bathing her in the sink (and she's alsmost a YEAR!). Super lazy on our part. It was just so convenient being able to watch tv, talk to M, and make dinner all while bathing her. I can't imagine her ever taking a legit real bath. But alas, this too will come!

    I think your chalkboard writing skills are lovely! Whenever I write on our chalkboard it looks like a 5 year old did it.

    I am so impressed that you wrote that on the chalkboard..It looks good! I can only imagine what mine would look like! Haha. The labels are adorable!

    I've had trouble with getting the chalk pens to erase. They always leave a shadow whether on chalkboard vinyl or paint. I had to repaint my door! Have you tried to erase yet? Maybe it's the pens I bought...
