Day 1 of our friend-cation started early. We began our trek at 4 am to beat la traffic (it worked!). Here are the highlights (and low lights)...

-B slept like a rockstar on the way up
-mama forgot to pack her shoes ( so i had to buy her "crib shoes" at baby gap since that's all they had!)
-M hit a fire hydrant in our new car. :( coulda been a lot worse though!
-we finally visited our old college town with B
-we ate tasty food
-M and his friends kayaked
-B wore her jammies a good portion of the day
-B may be a CalPoly cheerleader for Halloween because someone may have bought her a CP dress!
