While browsing through some nurseries on Project Nursery.com I came across an ad for a company called "Stuck on You." They sell personalized name tags for clothing and personal items such as bottles, books, snack containers etc. They have many different styles to choose from. Since B will be starting Bible School one day a week in the fall while I go to my own Bible study she will need her things to have her name on them. At some point I will also be putting her in Sunday school class while we go to church as well. Below are the labels I chose for her... So cute!

It's CAbi time again! Here is another piece from this summer's collection that my Aunt snagged for me. It has the popular "high low" cut at the hem with a slight racer back.This blouse is simple enough that it could really be paired with anything. I even used it as a cover up over my bathing suits while at the beach. It would be the perfect post maternity blouse too since it is loose and flowy. In winter I see myself wearing it with leggings or skinnies and a sweater.

Last weekend while we were at the beach my family had our picture taken by a friend of mine, Hayley. She was so fun to be around and she put up with my Dad's family's weirdness. She gave me a couple of sneak peaks that I thought I would share with you. :)

B was pretty good considering it was close to her bed time. But eventually she had had enough and she pooped out in M's arms at the beach.

Our week at the beach came to an end yesterday and boy was I sad! It was beyond wonderful spending time with our family and extra special because M took the week off of work! It was so great seeing Blair interact with her grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles.

Not only was the company good but the weather was phenomenal! Especially when you compare it to the 100+ degree weather we have been having at home. Ew. In fact, the weather has been so hot that when we came home to our house it was 93!!!! So after a week with my family we did the only thing that was logical...went to my parents house! Even though we have air conditioning our home was just not cooling down and B was ready to go night night.

Usually it's me who makes all the mistakes with B but this one is all Matt...

That would be Blair's onesie on backwards compliments of daddy. :)

You might be wondering why B is wearing disposable diapers and to be honest when you're on vacation it's just too hard to do cloth. I didn't want to bring all my diapers, wet bag, detergent, etc to the beach with me. So this week I'm filling up the landfill. Sigh.

During the first three months toys for babies are really a waste in my opinion. B just preferred faces to anything else. But once four months hit she started really enjoying things that she could chew on and hold. While she is still obsessed with her play mat she has found some new joy in her Sophie. Sophie the giraffe is perfect for her little hands and she loves gnawing on her nose, legs, bum, etc. Sophie's have been around for a long time and even the celebrity tots are seen toting them around LA. They are reasonably priced and bpa free. B loves hers!

Sometimes I help her out a little but she can mostly do it on her own. Sophie = nom nom nom! Get yours at amazon, Target, or Babies R Us!

Time for another CAbi outfit! Well, a CAbi top at least! I like this top because it's super lightweight so it can be worn in summer or fall. The shorts are actually from Ann Taylor Loft but pair well with the bright yellow in the top, I think!
