Yesterday night B had a five hour cycle and a four hour cycle overnight! I got three straight hours of sleep! It was awesome. :) Things really are changing quickly. I'm already packing away her newborn clothes and putting her in size 0-3 months and 3 months. Crazy! My mom's favorite quote is "See, she's changing so much! Remember when ______ (fill in the blank)." But she's right! B is more independent now in some ways. She plays on her play mat on her back for a good fifteen minutes by herself and also swings in her swing longer now.

There are little nuances about B that I don't want to forget. Like how she is infatuated with black and white objects such as big dark picture frames, shadows on the ceiling, dark fans on a white ceiling, etc. Glad we bought all those toys...

I also don't want to forget her zoolander face that she makes while nursing. I need to capture it soon!

A good friend of mine suggested that I order a collage of all Blair's newborn pictures for her bedroom. She recommended that I use BayPhoto. It came in the mail and M installed it last weekend. Here are a few snapshots of what it looks like!

I hope you had a great weekend...apparently mine started on Friday when my lazy bum didn't make time to post. Ooops! Last week I had so much fun getting out. On Friday I spent the whole day with my mom and Blair. We enjoyed going to lunch and running errands together. One place we stopped was Target. I found some great things for spring and although I know I don't need any more clothes I did get some things that can afford to be spit up on or pooped on. On Friday Blair did have her two month check up. I was disappointed because her pediatrician whom everyone raves about was out sick. :( The doctor we saw said that B was caught up with her peers even though she was a preemie. I thought her percentiles would be a lot higher (everything was under the 40th percentile) but the doctor assured me she was perfect. The doctor also said B had a lot of hair for a "white" baby. This made me laugh.

Baby Wise update: we're still working on it. Some days/nights are better than others. Lately she is deciding that her early morning feeding (like 4-5 am) is time to get up. Clearly I am not ok with this. Suggestions? I've been averaging 6 hours of sleep a night. Oh, and that is not consecutive hours. We're talking 1.5 hours then nurse, then 2 hours, then nurse, etc. Sigh. Sleep will never be the same.

Yesterday marked 9 weeks for Blair, although her adjusted age is only 4 weeks! The day night she sleeps through the night will be a-maz-ing. Wait for it...

Yesterday I went to my brother's league finals for swimming. It was great to get out of the house! He dominated in his events and his sister was proud. :) Today I am heading to a friends house to go for a walk and then have a picnic lunch. B is starting to appreciate her swing, binky, and car seat a little bit more now that she's getting older. Speaking of older...tomorrow she is officially two months old and we are taking her to her check up appointment with her pediatrician. I'm anxious to hear how she is progressing!
