Gender Neutral Modern Bohemian Nursery

Wednesday, June 1, 2016

Teeny and Tiny's nursery is 95% done and I really do love how it turned out. I went with a modern bohemian theme for their gender neutral nursery. Since I wanted a lot of texture I incorporated natural wood, cement, agate stones, cacti, succulents and a woven rug. I kept the walls and curtains neutral so it can grow with them (and ultimately baby girl twin).

For the first several weeks of designing the nursery I thought both babies were boys. I wasn't starting over once we found out baby A was actually a girl so I included some more feminine colors in the sheets. I think it's the perfect balance.

Remember my original mood board? And the finished product below...

I am just obsessed with these herringbone patterned sheets from Hudson Baby Co. It's the perfect amount of mustard and navy with a smidge of pink. Her whole etsy shop is filled with darling and unique patterns and prints. If only I needed to design thousands of nurseries... All the heart eyes!

I still need to swap out the chandelier and am waiting for an agate night light to arrive. Other than that I'm done! The pictures really don't do it justice but overall I'm really happy with their space. I just can't wait to cuddle those babies in their sweet room.
